What to Expect

Before Treatment:

A consultation to review your goals, anatomy, and medical history, this takes about 20 minutes.

A tailored plan to ensure dosing is natural and balanced

During Treatment:

Injections are quick and precise, usually completed in 10 minutes or less depending on the number of treated areas.

Minimal discomfort, often described as a small pinch. Comfort measures are available to be virtually pain free.

After Treatment:

No downtime—you can return to most activities immediately
Temporary redness or small bumps may occur, fading within minutes to hours
Avoid strenuous exercise for a day and lying flat for a few hours
Results appear gradually over the first week, full results are noted at 2 weeks. We encourage a refinement visit at this point to ensure perfect results.

What is unique about Dysport?

Like Botox, Dysport is a neuromodulator that temporarily relaxes targeted facial muscles by blocking nerve signals. However there are some key differences.

Softer Diffusion: Its unique formulation allows it to diffuse more easily, making it especially effective for larger treatment areas. This makes it an especially ideal neuromodulator to choose for the forehead muscles, or when administering skin tox to larger areas. It is also an excellent choice to treat hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating). Due to its diffusion profile, it often feels "Lighter" to clients in terms of heaviness or stiffness.

Faster Onset: You may see visible changes within just 2–3 days and full results at 2 weeks, lasting 3-4 months. This is especially helpful if you require quicker onset when planning around events.

Different formulation: It is often an efficient choice for those with stronger musculature, who may not have responded to other neuromodulators, this is due to its diffusion and slightly different molecular weight and accessory proteins as compared to Botox.

Key Relevant Research: Head to head trials show Dysport has one of the fastest onsets, as compared to other neuromodualtors. Ongoing research is being done on ready to use Dysport, which suggests innovation in how Dysport may be formulated in the future.
