What is
Radiesse?
Radiesse is an FDA-approved contouring filler that is also a regenerative biostimulator. It is uniquely made of calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHa) microspheres suspended in a smooth gel carrier.

It works in a dual phased approach

You get immediate support from the gel carrier and
long-term collagen stimulation from the calcium hydroxylapatite particles which stimulate your fibroblasts to create new collagen.Overtime, as the gel gradually dissolves, your own collagen remains.

One Unique Product
Multiple Uses
Our injectors uniquely prepare Radiesse to obtain all the benefits of volume and structural support as well as long term collagen stimulation.

Radiesse can be used as packaged, to contour and provide robust structural support, mimicking bone. It is an excellent product for Jawline contouring and Chin enhancement.

It can also be diluted to be used as a dual product for volume support and long term collagen stimulation; mimicking fat in the cheeks and lower face or temples. It can also be used in various parts of the body for example the hands and butt for increased volume.

Lastly, it can be hyperdiluted, wherein the focus shifts less towards volume and more towards improving skin texture, crepiness, firmness and collagen remodeling. In this manner it can be used in the face but also various parts of the body such as the neck, arms, abdomen, above the knees. It recently obtained an FDA indication for treating the chest for skin crepiness.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is dilute Radiesse?
Dilute Radiesse refers to Radiesse that has been mixed with saline and/or lidocaine to create a thinner consistency. This technique allows the product to spread more evenly through the tissue and is commonly used for treatment where we require some volume support but collagen stimulation as well.
What is hyperdilute Radiesse?
Hyperdilute Radiesse is Radiesse that has been diluted even further, shifting the focus primarily toward collagen stimulation and skin rejuvenation rather than volume. It is commonly used to address crepey skin, thin or lax skin neck lines, chest wrinkles, overall skin texture and quality. The goal is firmer, healthier looking bouncy, glowy skin with gradual improvement over time rather than a "filled" appearance. At TRUE we liken it to fertilizer for your skin cells.
How long does it take to see results from dilute or hyperdilute Radiesse?
Some patients notice early improvement from hydration and tissue support, but collagen stimulation develops gradually over time. Most patients begin seeing progressive improvement over several weeks to months as new collagen forms. We typically recommend 1-3 sessions every 6-12 weeks, this depends on a variety of factors.
Does Radiesse hurt? Will there be downtime?
You may experience mild discomfort; we reduce this by using injectable numbing, topical numbing and other comfort measures to ensure your experience is smooth and tolerable. You may have some bruising, swelling and downtime for 5-10 days. We use advanced techniques and numbing to reduce bruising as much as we can. We advise patients to avoid exercise for a few days to encourage a quicker recovery. You will be given both pre and post care instructions at the time of your booking so you know what to expect before the visit.
Do you use Radiesse with facial balancing?
Facial balancing is a comprehensive approach that uses a combination of dermal filler biostimulators like Radiesse to improve overall proportions, not just a single feature. Instead of over-treating one area, we subtly enhance multiple areas to create a more harmonious, natural result. These sessions are comprehensive and will involve improvements to skin quality, wrinkles and facial volume and often require multiple modalities. Treatments are usually completed in 1-3 sessions.
What if I am nervous and don't know if Radiesse is best?
No worries at all - that is what we are here for. Our consultations are comfortable, relaxed and transparent. We will complete a holistic full face assessment, and discuss priority treatment areas - what should be treated now vs what can be postponed for later. We always provide good-better-best options, sometimes dermal fillers aren't always the best option. If surgery is the best option, we recommend it. We use this consultation and treatment planning session to ensure we are aligned in order to provide safe and natural outcomes.
Is Radiesse safe?
Radiesse is FDA-approved and has been used for many years in aesthetic medicine. As with any injectable treatment, proper patient selection, anatomy knowledge, injection technique, and experience are critical for safety.Potential risks include bruising, swelling, nodules, asymmetry, vascular complications, and delayed inflammatory reactions. At TRUE, safety and evidence-based treatment planning come first.
Can Radiesse be reversed?
Unlike hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers, Radiesse cannot be fully dissolved with hyaluronidase alone, which makes thoughtful treatment planning, conservative dosing, precise placement, and injector expertise especially important. Radiesse can, however, be dispersed when appropriately managed. At TRUE, safety is our highest priority. For this reason, we uniquely customize and prepare Radiesse treatments by thoughtfully incorporating HA-based fillers to create a more adaptable treatment profile while still supporting collagen stimulation and structural rejuvenation. This approach is designed with both aesthetic outcomes and safety considerations in mind.
Will Radiesse stretch my skin and make me look puffy?
Poorly placed Radiesse can create unnatural results, but well-placed Radiesse respects your anatomy and ages with you. Choosing the right injector, strategic placement and preventing volume overload are the most important factors. When performed appropriately, Radiesse is known for creating subtle, supportive, and natural-looking rejuvenation. Because collagen develops gradually, results often appear refreshed rather than obviously “done.”
How long does Radiesse last?
Results vary depending on the treatment area, dilution technique, metabolism, and treatment goals, but many patients experience results lasting approximately 12–18 months or longer. Collagen remodeling effects may continue beyond the visible duration of the product itself.
